Meet The Band

What happens when a prominent musician gets married? His talented, touring musician groomsmen form into the ultimate wedding supergroup. The Best Man Band is a function band consisting of Alex Bishop, Sam Mitchell, Joe Gubby and Nick Oakes, four well renowned musicians in their own right. Initially formed for a one time performance at a friend’s wedding, the band was so good they just had to keep going.

The Best Man Band are here to fight against boring, cookie cutter function bands. They play the songs others are afraid to. Say goodbye to Mr Brightside and hello to Free Bird. Less Ed Sheeran more Jimi Hendrix. The Boys are Back in Town and its time to party.

Me and my wife hired the band to play our wedding and had the best time ever! All members were polite and friendly, dressed for the occasion and made our night. Excellent communication with our selfs and the venue, very well organised and very considerate. We only had a small room for the band but they made it work and sound great, also very respectful of the venue. They’re all very talented musicians and all of our guests were blown away by the performance, they had the dance floor full for 3 hours. I challenge you to find a wedding band that can shred like these guys.
